About approval of the Regulations on the consular fee of Ukraine

1. Approve Regulations on the consular fee of Ukraine which are applied.

To department of the general secretariat to finish this order note of deputy ministers of foreign affairs of Ukraine, heads of structural divisions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, representative offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in the territory of Ukraine and foreign diplomatic organizations of Ukraine.

Regulations on the consular fee of Ukraine

1. The consular fee is levied for making of consular actions which are performed abroad and in the territory of Ukraine according to the Consular charter of Ukraine approved by the Presidential decree of Ukraine, of 02.04.94 N 127 (with changes), subitems "b", "d", "o" of Item 6 of article 3 of the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 21.01.93 N 7-93 "About the state fee" (with changes).

2. The consular fee in the territory of Ukraine levies Department of consular service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in the territory of Ukraine, outside Ukraine - diplomatic representations and consular establishments of Ukraine abroad (further - foreign diplomatic organizations of Ukraine).

3. Rates of the consular fee in the territory of Ukraine and beyond its limits for execution of visas to entry into Ukraine and transit through the territory of Ukraine are levied in sizes which are established according to Item 6 of article 3 of the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 21.01.93 No. 7-93 "About the state fee" (with changes) and resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 01.06.2011 of N56711-p "About approval of Rules of execution of visas to entry into Ukraine and transit through its territory".

In case when the foreign state levies for execution of visas to citizens of Ukraine the consular fee which exceeds the tariff charges specified in this Item, by foreign diplomatic organizations of Ukraine for registration to citizens of such state of visas the consular fee taking into account the principle of reciprocity is levied.

The heads of diplomatic representation of Ukraine sent on representation rates of the consular fee for making of consular actions with the corresponding reasons for increase in the tariff charge for execution of visas to citizens of this state affirm as such state the deputy minister - the chief of staff and are sent for application to all foreign diplomatic organizations of Ukraine.

According to Item 9 of the Regulations on the passport of the citizen of Ukraine for the trip abroad approved by the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of 26.06.92 N 2503-XII (with changes), for issue and exchange of the passport of the territories of Ukraine the state fee, and abroad - the consular fee is collected.

5. Rates of the consular fee which is levied for making of consular actions in the territory of Ukraine by Department of consular service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and representative offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in the territory of Ukraine (appendix 1), are established in free minima of the income of citizens and are levied in hryvnias.

In cases, stipulated by the legislation Ukraine, the consular fee in the territory of Ukraine can be collected from nonresidents also in any freely converted currency which belongs to I groups of classification of currencies of the National Bank of Ukraine, on the official rate of the National Bank of Ukraine of national currency of Ukraine to the corresponding foreign currency on the date of the address concerning making of consular action.

6. Basic fares of the consular fee which is levied for making of consular actions by foreign diplomatic organizations of Ukraine (appendix 2), are established in US dollars, except for the consular fees specified in Item 3 of this Provision.
