The agreement between the Ministry of Sport and tourism of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of youth and sport of the Republic of Moldova about cooperation in the field of physical culture and sport

The Ministry of Sport and tourism of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of youth and sport of the Republic of Moldova, the hereinafter referred to as Parties,

aiming to lay the foundation for expansion and encouragement of friendly relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Moldova,

recognizing that improvement of the nation, forming of healthy lifestyle of citizens and development of elite sport are important component of social policy of both states,

confirming the commitment to the purposes and the principles of the Olympic Movement,

based on provisions of the Agreement on the relations of friendship and the cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Moldova signed in Chisinau on December 21, 1992

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will coordinate the actions for the purpose of development and strengthening of the international sports cooperation by holding meetings and consultations concerning the international sports and Olympic Movement, coordination of actions in the international sports bodies.

Article 2

The parties will promote participation of the Belarusian and Moldavian athletes, trainers, organizers of sports movement in the competitions and the international sporting events held in both states.

The parties will encourage holding educational training camps, joint trainings national, the teams and club teams on different types of sport on sports bases of both states for the purpose of increase in level of training and sports skill.

Article 3

The parties will promote experience exchange on the organization of sports and mass actions, attraction of the population to regular trainings by physical culture.

The parties will exchange scientific and methodical information on problems of the organization of improvement and rest of the population means of physical culture and sport.

Article 4

The parties will promote establishment of direct contacts between federations on sports, the centers of the Olympic preparation, educational, scientific and medical institutions of sports profile which will be performed on mutually acceptable conditions.

The parties will promote exchange of scientific works, information on the last achievements in the field of elite sport, sports diagnostics, about methods of biomedical support and use of the modern scientific equipment and equipment when training high-class athletes.

The parties will promote preparation, retraining and exchange trainer's and research and educational personnel.

The parties will promote participation of the Belarusian and Moldavian scientists, specialists in the scientific congresses, symposiums, seminars concerning physical culture and sport organized in both states.

Article 5

The parties, confirming fidelity to the principles of fair play, will perform collateral actions in fight against violence expression during the sports competitions and use of the prohibited substances and methods of dope.

The parties will promote strengthening of cooperation between the national anti-doping organizations of two states, to perform the approved interaction within the international and regional anti-doping structures.

Article 6

The parties will promote experience exchange in the field of designing, construction, reconstruction and operation of sports constructions, production and acquisition of sportswear and stock.

Article 7

For successful implementation of this agreement of the Party agreed to adopt the program of sports exchanges which will be developed and signed in the terms which are previously approved between the Parties.

Article 8

The parties determine that the forms of cooperation stated in Articles of this agreement in the field of physical culture and sport will be performed on the terms of mutual respect, equality, observance of the rights and obligations of the Parties and within their budgetary funds. The form, the program and financial sales terms of this agreement will be determined by relevant organs of management in the field of physical culture and sport and the sports organizations of the states of both Parties by consultations.

Article 9

This agreement becomes effective from the date of receipt through diplomatic channels of the last written notice confirming accomplishment of the corresponding interstate procedures by the Parties necessary for its entry into force.

The agreement can change and be supplemented by mutual consent of the Parties. The approved changes and amendments will be drawn up by separate protocols, to be considered as integral part of this Agreement and become effective according to the procedure specified in the first part of this Article. Cancellation of this agreement does not affect accomplishment of the programs and projects approved during its action provided that the Parties will not agree about other.

This agreement is signed for a period of 5 (five) years and automatically prolonged for the subsequent five-year period provided that any of the Parties will not express desire to stop its action by the written notice sent to other Party through diplomatic channels not later than three months before the expiration of its action.

It is made in Baku on September 21, 2010 in two authentic copies, everyone in Russian and state language of the Republic of Moldova, and all texts are equally authoritative.

In case of disagreements in case of interpretation of provisions of this agreement the text in Russian has advantage.
