Our self-sacrificing women, adhering to remarkable traditions of ancestors, on an equal basis with men as apple of the eye preserved the native Fatherland, promoted peacekeeping and consent, were proud of fruits of the constructive labor, showed care of development of national traditions, enhancement of cultural wealth, were keepers of the Turkmen family - the center in which fire of freedom and moral purity glimmered. The Turkmen people always held sacred and maintained high advantage of the women who got around the world popularity the graceful carpets created by their clever fingers, other works of national applied art in which they put not only skill, but also all richness of soul.

Being guided by good intentions about creating favorable conditions for worthy life, fruitful work and longevity of women of our neutral state, education of the younger generation of the Golden Age by them:

1. Since first year of the 21st century - the Golden Age of the Turkmen people to celebrate March 8 of the first month of spring of the International Women's Day as the national holiday devoted to our dear mothers, women.

2. Annually by March 8 in honor of the International Women's Day to all women and girls working at the companies in organizations and the organizations irrespective of pattern of ownership, to the women and girls receiving pension and public welfare payments, the women and girls studying in postgraduate study, doctoral studies and clinical internship with separation from production, to listeners of rates of Academy of public service in case of the President of Turkmenistan with training term at least two academic years to students, schoolgirls of educational institutions and pupils of preschool institutions to hand on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan money gifts.

The size of money gifts and source of their financing is determined by the President of Turkmenistan.

3. To impose control over the implementation of this Law on vice-chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
