About poultry farming

This Law determines legal, economic and organizational basis of poultry-farming industry and governs the relations connected with activities in this industry.

Chapter 1. General provisions

Article 1. Basic concepts

In this Law the following concepts are used:

- poultry farming - industry which task is cultivation, content and use of different types and breeds of birds for the purpose of production of eggs, meat, feathers, down and other products. Hens, turkeys, ducks, geese, guinea fowls, quails, meat pigeons, ostriches treat such birds;

- the poultry-farming company - the company which is engaged in incubation, reproduction, breeding case, production of eggs and fowl:

- the breeding poultry-farming company - the specialized enterprise which is engaged in cultivation of separate breeds and cross-countries of birds, maintenance and enhancement of their genetic and productive qualities;

- plemptitsereproduktor of the I procedure - the company specialized on production of parent forms of birds;

- plemptitsereproduktor of the II procedure - the company specialized on cultivation of the hybrid birds received as a result of crossing of two and more genetically differing parent forms;

- the inkubatorno-poultry-farming company - the company specialized on conclusion of young growth of birds.

- cross-country - complex of highly productive lines which according to certain scheme of crossing give the posterity having rather high rates of productivity;
