About the free enterprise zone of "Balti"

The parliament adopts this organic law.

Article 1. General provisions

(1) in the territory of municipium of Belts the free enterprise zone of "Balti" (further - free zone is created) for the term of 25 years.

(2) free zone are included:

d) parcel of land Ploshchad 12,00 of hectare down the street V. Kresesku, 1, Streshen;

(3) Borders and configuration of free zone are determined in cadastral plans of these territories constituted according to the cadastral legislation and this law.

Article 2. Management of free zone

(1) For management of free zone the Government forms the state body (further - Administration) having the status of the legal entity and operating on the principles of self-financing.

(2) Structure, functions of Administration and amount of the powers conferred to it are established by the Law on free enterprise zones No. 440-XV of July 27, 2001 and the Regulations on the free enterprise zone of "Balti" approved by the Government.

Article 3. Activities in free zone

The procedure for selection of residents, the permitted types of activity, the customs, tax, currency, visa and registration modes, employment relationships and social protection in free zone are established by the Law No. 440-XV of July 27, 2001.

Article 4. Termination of activities of free zone

(1) the Free zone stops the activities after functioning term.

(2) After the termination of activities of free zone physical persons and legal entities - the former residents can continue economic activity in accordance with general practice, stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Moldova on the corresponding timepoint.

Article 5. Guarantees in case of change of the legislation

(1) the Physical persons or legal entities registered as resident of free zone till December 31, 2023, having the right to perform till January 1, 2034 types of activity in the customs regime regulated by the Law on free enterprise zones No. 440/2001.

(2) the Tax benefits on the income tax provided to the physical persons or legal entities registered as resident of free zone till December 31, 2023 are established according to the procedure, stipulated in Article 49 Tax codes No. 1163/1997.

Article 6. Final provisions

To the government in 30-day time:

- appoint the chief manager of free zone;

- approve Regulations on the free enterprise zone of "Balti".
