About introduction of the minimum wholesale and vacation pay and retail prices on alcoholic products

For the purpose of further strengthening of control of non-admission of illegal production and realization of alcoholic products the Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Enter since January 1, 2010 the minimum wholesale and vacation pay and retail prices on alcoholic products (except for beer) below which alcoholic products cannot be sold, according to appendix No. 1.

2. Determine that:

the minimum wholesale and vacation pay and retail prices on alcoholic products can be reviewed by the Ministry of Finance and the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in coordination with the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, proceeding from price performance and sales amount of products;

in case of identification of the facts of realization of alcoholic products at the prices, below the minimum wholesale and vacation pay and retail prices established by the legislation, the corresponding penalties are applied to the manufacturing companies of alcoholic products and retailers, and perpetrators are made responsible in accordance with the established procedure.

3. Uzvinprom-holding holding company together with Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of areas and Tashkent:

accept package of measures for ensuring compliance since January 1, 2010 of the established requirements for the minimum wholesale and vacation pay and retail prices of alcoholic products;

in decade time to bring to the manufacturing companies and retailers about introduction since January 1, 2010 of the minimum wholesale and vacation pay and retail prices on alcoholic products;

carry out explanatory work through mass media about introduction of the minimum wholesale and vacation pay and retail prices on alcoholic products.

4. To the Ministry of Finance, the State Tax Committee, the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan about assistance to the privatized companies and development of the competition, since January 1, 2010, when implementing monitoring and checks in accordance with the established procedure to take measures for identification and prevention of realization of alcoholic products for the prices, below the established minimum wholesale and vacation pay and retail prices.

5. Make since January 1, 2010 changes and amendments to some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix No. 2.

6. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Azimov R. S.
