Procedure for conducting verification of documents and data after release of goods and (or) vehicles

I. General provisions

1. The procedure for conducting verification of documents and data after release of goods and (or) vehicles (further - the Procedure) is developed based on the Section IV of the Customs code of the Russian Federation (The Russian Federation Code, 2003, N 22, the Art. 2066, N 52 (p. 3. The procedure does not extend to Checks:

1) carried out by divisions of currency exchange control of customs authorities according to information containing signs of violations of the foreign exchange legislation of the Russian Federation and acts of bodies of currency exchange control according to established procedure;

2) carried out by officials of customs posts concerning conditionally released goods in case of their room under other customs regime or other customs procedure, and also in case of decision making about release of goods for free circulation after their conditional release;

3) the customs payments which are carried out by divisions of control of customs value of customs authorities in cases of release of goods on condition of providing which can be in addition added by results of check of correctness of determination of customs value.

4. Verification of documents and data is form of customs control and is carried out for the purpose of establishment of authenticity of the documents submitted in case of customs clearance of goods and (or) vehicles, reliability of the data containing in them, and also correctness of their registration.
