Chapter 1. Types, amounts and frequency of repair

1. These methodical instructions establish technical regulations of advisory nature in case of repair of explosion-proof electric equipment. Depending on extent of damages and depreciation of electric equipment and its components, labor input of repair work, the following types of repair of electric equipment are established: current and capital according to GOST 2.602.

2. The amount and frequency, need of carrying out this or that type of repair, are established taking into account service conditions of specific electric equipment and specifying of the organizations - manufacturers of electric equipment.

3. Need and term of capital repairs is determined by the chief power engineer of the organization operating electric equipment on the basis of the analysis of its technical condition, according to requirements of PUE (Regulation for electrical installation), User Rules for Operating Electrical Equipment (further - PTEP).

Chapter 2. Organization of repair

4. The repair of electric equipment connected with recovery or production of its components providing explosion protection according to PTEP, and is carried out by the repair organizations having the license.

5. The technical readiness of the organization providing proper quality of repair of electric equipment is determined:

1) availability on the repaired electric equipment of repair documentation or documentation of the organization - manufacturer;

2) availability of the necessary equipment, devices and tool;

3) personnel training.

6. The repair organization is equipped:

1) set of the measuring tool allowing to make control of parameters of explosion protection (the approximate list of the tool is given in appendix 1);

2) the devices and hoisting-and-transport means providing high-quality dismantling and excluding thereby additional damage of details and assembly units;

3) the mechanical, welding and other equipment allowing message recovery of elements of explosion protection by method of welding, building up, machining, installation of repair details and to that similar;

4) the set of processing equipment and materials allowing to repair windings according to class of heat stability of isolation of the repaired electric equipment;

5) the stand with set of devices for carrying out hydraulic testing of details and assembly units of blast-tight cover;

6) the stand and devices for carrying out electric testing;

7) the container and racks excluding possibility of damage of elements of explosion protection of electric equipment in the course of transportation and storage.

The approximate list of the equipment recommended for additional installation under the organization of repair of electric equipment is given in appendix 2.

7. Repair of electric equipment with all types of explosion protection includes transactions:

1) acceptance of electric equipment and check of completeness of all assembly units and details;

2) dismantling;

3) washing of assembly units and details;

4) fault detection of assembly units and details for identification of amount of repair work;

5) recovery of details and (or) production of new;

6) hydraulic testing of details of blast-tight cover and other testing if they are provided by documentation of the organization manufacturer or repair;

7) check in the course of repair and assembly of all parameters providing explosion protection on compliance to requirements of documentation of the organization manufacturer or repair;

8) assembly;

9) electric testing;

10) coloring of electric equipment;

11) execution of the necessary documentation confirming compliance of the repaired electric equipment to requirements of documentation of the organization - manufacturer or repair;

12) issue of the repaired electric equipment.

8. Running repair of electric equipment is made by operational services according to instructions of predpriyatiyaizgotovitel.

9. In case of the running repair made on site operation from the details providing explosion safety replacement of contact clips through passage, insulating blocks, the condensing rings, cable couplings, press devices, caps of cable inputs and fixing bolts of covers of electric equipment is allowed.

10. Repair of large high-voltage electrical machines of explosion-proof execution on site of installation (operation) is made by mobile teams of the organization which obtained the license for the right of repair of explosion-proof electric equipment.
