About measures of state regulation of import to the Russian Federation and export from the Russian Federation of ozone-depleting substances

The government of the Russian Federation decides:

1. For the purpose of ensuring accomplishment of obligations of the Russian Federation under the Vienna convention on protection of ozone layer of 1985 and the Montreal protocol on the substances destroying ozone layer 1987 to determine that import to the Russian Federation and export from the Russian Federation of the ozone-depleting substances specified in lists C (except for groups I) and E appendices N 1 to the Regulations on procedure for import to the Russian Federation and export from the Russian Federation of ozone-depleting substances and products containing them approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of May 8, 1996 N 563, is performed only in cases:

uses of the specified substances only as raw materials for production of other chemicals;

in particular cases of use of the specified substances and exceptions provided by the Montreal protocol;

transit transportations of the specified substances through the Russian Federation from the states and to the states which are the Parties of the Montreal protocol.

2. This resolution becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
