About approval of Rules of assignment of special ranks to customs officers of the Republic of Tajikistan

1. Approve the enclosed Rules of assignment of special ranks to customs officers of the Republic of Tajikistan.

2. Declare invalid the Presidential decree of the Republic of Tajikistan of October 21, 1997 No. 857 "About approval of the Regulations on procedure for assignment of special ranks to customs officers of the Republic of Tajikistan".

Rules of assignment of special ranks to customs officers of the Republic of Tajikistan

1. The special ranks to customs officers are given for life taking into account post, education, availability of the Bonn or other special rank (rank, class), length of service, the relation to service and other requirements provided by these rules.

Salaries on special ranks are established by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Types of the special ranks provided for each position are established by the head of authorized body concerning customs affairs within the powers.

The next special rank is given to the customs officer on the expiration of its service in the previous special rank.

To the customs officers who are listeners of higher educational institutions, the next special ranks are given according to the procedure, provided by these rules according to established posts which they replaced before revenues to study and on their termination, according to special ranks for established positions to which they are appointed.

3. The special rank the colonel general of Customs Service is given by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the head of authorized body concerning customs affairs.

The special rank the lieutenant general of Customs Service is given by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the first deputy head of authorized body concerning customs affairs based on the petition of the head of authorized body concerning customs affairs.

4. The following terms of period of service in special rank are established:

- the second lieutenant of Customs Service - 2 years (or in case of receipt of the higher education)

- the lieutenant of Customs Service - 2 years

- the senior lieutenant of Customs Service - 2 years

- the captain of Customs Service - 3 years

- the major of Customs Service - 4 years

- the lieutenant colonel of Customs Service - 5 years.

Terms of period of service in special rank of the lance sergeant of Customs Service, the sergeant of Customs Service, the staff sergeant of Customs Service, the foreman of Customs Service, the colonel of Customs Service, the major general of Customs Service, the lieutenant general of Customs Service are not established.

5. The term of period of service of customs officers in the special ranks given by it are estimated from the date of assignment of this rank by it. In time periods of service in special rank join:

a) operating time in the positions having military, other special ranks (ranks and classes);

7. Customs officers to whom according to the procedure of authority punishment the special rank was lowered are recovered not earlier than in six months from the date of decrease in special rank in case of positive certification.

Decrease in special rank or recovery in former special rank is performed by persons (body) them appropriated.

8. Deprivation of customs officers of special ranks is performed only by court in the procedure established by the law.
