The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES:

1. Approve the enclosed Regulations on payment procedure of compulsory insurance premiums for pension insurance of spouses of the attache concerning defense and assistants to the attache concerning defense under Embassies of the Republic of Belarus.

2. In the paragraph the second Item 2 of the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of May 31, 2002 No. 717 "About introduction of position of the military representative of the Republic of Belarus to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization" (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2002, No. 65, 5/10549; 2006, No. 40, 5/21024) of the word "military attache" shall be replaced with words "the attache concerning defense".

3. This resolution becomes effective since January 1, 2009.

Regulations on payment procedure of compulsory insurance premiums for pension insurance of spouses of the attache concerning defense and assistants to the attache concerning defense under Embassies of the Republic of Belarus

1. This Provision determines payment procedure of compulsory insurance premiums in Social Security Fund of the population of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection for pension insurance of spouses (daleestrakhovy fees) of the attache concerning defense and assistants to the attache concerning defense under Embassies of the Republic of Belarus (further - the attache).

2. Registration of the attache as the payer of insurance premiums is performed in body of Social Security Fund of the population of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection for the place of his residence in the Republic of Belarus (further - body of Fund) within two days from the date of giving of the attache of the statement in body of Fund with appendix of the following documents to it:

passports of the citizen of the Republic of Belarus;

statements from the order of the Minister of Defence on job placement as the attache;

identity document of the spouse (spouse);

marriage certficates;

the insurance certificate of the national social insurance of the spouse (spouse) - in case of its availability at the spouse (spouse).

In day of registration the body of Fund issues to the attache the corresponding notice in the form established by board of Social Security Fund of the population of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.

In case of prolongation of term of job placement as the attache it shall provide to body of Fund the statement from the relevant order of the Minister of Defence.

3. Insurance premiums are paid at the rate of the monthly sum of insurance premiums in the amount of 30 percent of the minimum wage determined by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus (taking into account its indexation).

4. Payment of insurance premiums is performed by the attache at least once a year. Final settlement on payment of insurance premiums for the expired calendar year and submission to body of Fund of documents of the personified accounting according to the legislation of the Republic of Belarus attaches no later than April 1 of the year following for expired calendar year are made.

5. Removal from accounting of the attache as the payer of insurance premiums is performed by body of Fund based on its statement for removal from accounting.

In case of early response of the attache from the state of stay the Ministry of Defence in writing informs on it Social Security Fund of the population of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.

After receipt of the statement or information from the Ministry of Defence the body of Fund makes if necessary recalculation of the paid insurance premiums taking into account time of stay of the spouse (spouse) of the attache abroad.
