Article 1

The persons which are part of the Russian military base and needing providing with living space (in improvement of housing conditions), have the right to housing according to the procedure of priority from reserve of command of the Russian military base, and in the absence of it - in coordination with the authorities of the republic Armenia according to its housing legislation.

The Armenian Side will assist room and operational bodies of the Russian military base in exchange of premises with citizens and the organizations of the Republic of Armenia for the purpose of ensuring compact accommodation of persons which are part of the Russian military base.

Article 4

The Armenian Side will provide with living space of the persons which are part of the Russian military base, dismissed from active duty from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and who elected the permanent residence the territory of the Republic of Armenia on the same bases which are established for the military personnel of Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.

The living space assigned to the Russian military base, occupied by specified persons at the time of dismissal from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is subject to obligatory delivery to room and operational bodies of the Russian military base.

Article 5

The parties will inform each other on the regulations in the field of the housing legislation.

Article 6

This agreement becomes effective from the date of receipt of the last notification confirming accomplishment of the proper interstate procedures necessary for its entry into force and remains in force during the term of the agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia about the Russian military base in the territory of the Republic of Armenia of March 16, 1995.
