1. Approve:
The regulations on the Ministry of Sport and tourism of the Republic of Belarus (are applied);
The regulations on Department on tourism of the Ministry of Sport and tourism of the Republic of Belarus (are applied).
1-1. Determine the list of the state organizations subordinated to the Ministry of Sport and tourism according to appendix.
2. Recognize invalid:
the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of February 9, 1996 No. 87 "About approval of the Regulations on the Ministry of Sport and tourism of the Republic of Belarus" (Collection of presidential decrees and resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, 1996, No. 5, the Art. 116);
the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of September 11, 1998 No. 1428 "About entering of amendment into the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of February 9, 1996 No. 87" (Collection of decrees, presidential decrees and orders of the Government of the Republic of Belarus, 1998, No. 26, the Art. 679);
the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of May 28, 2001 No. 781 "About modification and amendments in Regulations on the Ministry of Sport and tourism of the Republic of Belarus" (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2001, No. 56, 5/6125);
the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of June 2, 2005 No. 584 "About modification and amendments in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of February 9, 1996 No. 87" (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2005, No. 92, 5/16067).
3. This resolution becomes effective since August 1, 2006.

1. The Ministry of Sport and tourism of the Republic of Belarus (further - the Ministry of Sports) is republican state body and submits to Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.
2. The Ministry of Sports pursues single state policy in the sphere of physical culture, sport and tourism, performs coordination of activities in this sphere of other republican state bodies.
3. The Ministry of Sports is guided in the activities by the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the laws of the Republic of Belarus, decrees, decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the orders of the Government of the Republic of Belarus, international treaties of the Republic of Belarus, this Provision and other acts of the legislation and performs it in interaction with the republican state bodies and other organizations subordinated to the Government of the Republic of Belarus, the local executive and administrative organs, the organizations of physical culture and sport, the organizations performing tourist activities, public organizations.
