For the purpose of implementation of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of November 6, 2008 "About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Belarus "About radiation safety of the population" the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES:
1. Approve the enclosed Regulations on procedure for state registration of sources of ionizing radiation and maintaining single state system of accounting and control of sources of ionizing radiation.
2. Declare invalid the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of October 4, 1999 No. 1537 "About creation of single state system of accounting and control of sources of ionizing radiation" (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 1999, No. 79, 5/1759).
3. This resolution becomes effective since May 15, 2009.

In this Provision terms and determinations in the values established by the laws of the Republic of Belarus of January 5, 1998 "About radiation safety of the population" are used (Vedamasts_ Natsyyanalnaga to descent of Respubl_k_ Belarus, 1998, No. 5, the Art. 25) and of July 30, 2008 "About use of atomic energy" (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2008, No. 187, 2/1523).
3. Accounting of sources of ionizing radiation in single system performs Department on nuclear and radiation safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (further Gosatomnadzor).
4. The sources of ionizing radiation which are in property of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs of the Republic of Belarus, located in the territory of the Republic of Belarus or beyond its limits shall be registered in single system. Gosatomnadzor performs state registration and removal from accounting of sources of ionizing radiation according to Item 20.33 of the single list of the ministerial procedures performed by state bodies and other organizations concerning legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus approved by the resolution of February 17, 2012 No. 156 "About approval of the single list of the ministerial procedures performed by state bodies and other organizations concerning legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, entering of amendment into the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of February 14, 2009 No. 193 and recognition voided some resolutions of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus" (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2012, No. 35, 5/35330).
5. Action of this provision does not extend on:
the radioactive materials containing in radioactive environmental pollution;
nuclear materials which are considered in the state system of accounting and control of nuclear materials of the Republic of Belarus, except products from the grown poor uranium;
