The Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus which further are referred to as with the Parties for the purpose of creation of equal conditions to subjects of managing in the territory of both states and effective functioning of common economic space agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement subjects of managing of the Parties are understood as the companies, their combinations, the organization of any legal forms, and also the citizens having the status of the entrepreneur according to the national legal system of the Parties, and their consolidation.

Article 2

The parties will take necessary legislative and other measures on providing the equal rights, obligations and guarantees to subjects of managing of the Parties.

The parties will provide standardization of the legislation according to the Protocol to this agreement which is its integral part.

Article 3

In case of mutual trade of the Party will provide application of open pricing, and use of regulated prices (rates) - on the basis of the prices (rates) developing in the domestic markets.

Article 4

For the purpose of respect for mutual interests of the Party will control jointly the course of accomplishment of this agreement, to consider economic results of its realization and if necessary to make to it changes and additions.

Article 5

This agreement becomes effective from signature date and stops the action after six months since the moment when one of the Parties notifies in writing other Party on the intention to stop its action.

It is made in the city of Moscow on December 25, 1998 in duplicate in Russian.
