Agreement between the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova on cooperation

The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova which further are referred to as with the Parties

recognizing importance of cooperation between two Parties,

for the purpose of further strengthening of mutual understanding and friendly cooperation between specialists of system of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will perform cooperation in the following directions:

1. Organization of bilateral symposiums, conferences and seminars for different problems of jurisprudence and practice;

2. Exchange of information about the legislation and legal structures;

3. Exchange of delegations of the Parties for more complete acquaintance with the organization and activities of bodies and organization of justice of each other;

4. Assistance in case of preparation of legal personnel, mutual exchange of specialists;

5. Establishment of partner bonds between bodies and organizations of justice of the Parties;

6. Creation on a parity basis groups of specialists for legal examination of bills;

7. Implementation of exchange of specialists in the field of information of national systems of justice.

Article 2

Within this agreement of the Party can establish the commissions on development of joint programs and suggestions for improvement of the legislation in the field of the relation of property, investments and other approved subject which is of mutual interest.

Article 3

For the purpose of accomplishment of this agreement of the Party cooperation the next year, proceeding from the corresponding financial opportunities will annually approve the projects.

When financing joint actions for cooperation of the Party will adhere to the principle according to which expenses on the organization and stay are born by the host party, and expenses on journey by transport there and back - the sending party.

The right to provision of medical attendance of specialists of the Parties is determined by the current legislation of the states of the Parties.

Article 4

By mutual consent of the Parties changes and additions which are drawn up by the separate protocol which is integral part of this agreement can be made to this agreement.

In case of disputes and disagreements on interpretation or application of provisions of this agreement of the Party will resolve them by bilateral negotiations and consultations.

Article 5

This agreement becomes effective from the date of signing and is effective before the expiration of six months from the date of receipt of the written notice of one of the Parties of intention of other Party to terminate this agreement.

It is made in the city of Tashkent on December 18, 1998 in duplicate, everyone in the Uzbek, Moldavian and Russian languages, and all texts are equally authoritative.

For the purposes of interpretation of provisions of this agreement the text in Russian is used.
