About the status of the deputy of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic

Chapter 1. General provisions

Article 1. Deputy of Jogorku Kenesh

2. The position of the deputy of Jogorku Kenesh is the highest political state position of legislature of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Article 2. Term of office of the deputy of Jogorku Kenesh

1. The deputy of Jogorku Kenesh is elected for five years.

2. Powers of the deputy of Jogorku Kenesh begin from the date of adoption of the oath of the following content:

"I..., starting execution of powers of the deputy of Jogorku Kenesh, I swear on fidelity to the Kyrgyz Republic and I swear:

Article 3. Early termination of powers of the deputy of Jogorku Kenesh

1. Powers of the deputy of Jogorku Kenesh stop ahead of schedule in cases:

1) submissions of the written application by it about addition of deputy powers or exit from fraction;

2) getting out of nationality of the Kyrgyz Republic or acquisition of nationality of foreign state;

3) transition to work or not leaving of work by it, not compatible to accomplishment of deputy powers;

4) recognitions of elections by invalid;

5) departure on permanent residence out of limits of the Kyrgyz Republic;

6) recognitions of the deputy by court incapacitated;

7) introductions in legal force of the judgment about its announcement it is unknown absent or died;

8) death of the deputy;

9) introductions in legal force of conviction of court concerning it;

10) absence at meetings of Jogorku Kenesh without valid excuse 30 and more working days during one session.

Items 11) - 13) voided

2. Early termination of powers of the deputy of Jogorku Kenesh on the specified bases is performed by the resolution of Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic accepted no later than thirty calendar days from the date of emergence of the basis.

3. The procedure for replacement of the vacant mandate formed owing to early termination of powers of the deputy is determined by the constitutional law.

Article 4. Certificate and breastplate of the deputy of Jogorku Kenesh

1. The certificate of the deputy of Jogorku Kenesh is the identity document of the deputy and his power. The status of the deputy of Jogorku Kenesh is confirmed also by the breastplate "Jogorku Kenesh".

2. Regulations on the certificate and the breastplate of the deputy of Jogorku Kenesh and their samples affirm Jogorku Kenesh.

Article 5. Activities not compatible to implementation of powers of the deputy of Jogorku Kenesh

1. The deputy of Jogorku Kenesh cannot be at the same time in other public or municipal service, cannot perform business and religious activity, be part of governing body or supervisory board of the commercial organization.

2. The deputy of Jogorku Kenesh is exempted from appeal on training and other military sessions for the powers.
