According to paragraphs the eighth and sixteenth article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 23, 2008 "About international treaties of the Republic of Belarus" the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES:

1. Approve the enclosed Regulations on procedure for assurance of copies of international treaties, amendments
to international treaties and the official translation of these agreements and amendments on the Belarusian and (or) Russian languages.

2. This resolution becomes effective since December 5, 2008.

Regulations on procedure for assurance of copies of international treaties, amendments to international treaties and official translation of these
contracts and amendments for the Belarusian and (or) Russian languages

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. This Provision establishes procedure for assurance of copies of international treaties, amendments to international treaties and the official translation of these agreements and amendments on the Belarusian and (or) Russian languages.

Requirements of this provision are applied also in case of assurance of the interstate educations which are not certified in accordance with the established procedure by authorized bodies, foreign states, the international organizations:

copies of the act of interstate education which constitutionality is subject to check, in the Belarusian and (or) Russian languages or its official translation on the Belarusian and (or) Russian languages;

copies of the acts of interstate education making changes and (or) additions to the act of interstate education which constitutionality is subject to check, in the Belarusian and (or) Russian languages or their official translations on the Belarusian and (or) Russian languages;

copies of international legal acts based on which interstate education adopts the act which constitutionality is subject to check, in the Belarusian and (or) Russian languages or their official translations on the Belarusian and (or) Russian languages;

copies of the document accepted (published) by foreign state, the international organization and (or) their bodies and infringing on interests of the Republic of Belarus in the Belarusian and (or) Russian languages or its official translation on the Belarusian and (or) Russian languages.

2. For the purposes of this provision terms in the values determined in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 23, 2008 "About international treaties of the Republic of Belarus" are used (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2008, No. 184, 2/1518; National legal Internet portal of the Republic of Belarus, 18.07. 2013, 2/2046).

Chapter 2. Procedure for assurance of copies of international treaties and amendments to international treaties

3. In the cases provided in the Law of the Republic of Belarus "About international treaties of the Republic of Belarus", except for determined in article 18 of this Law, assurance of copies of interstate and intergovernmental agreements is performed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs based on request of state body, department of state body within which competence the questions containing in these agreements are (further - state body).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in case of:

availability of the original of the international treaty at it or officially published (certified) depositary copy of the multi-lateral international treaty in ten-day time after receipt of request of state body certifies the copy of such agreement and sends it to state body;

lack of the original of the international treaty or officially published (certified) depositary copy of the multi-lateral international treaty requests this agreement from it through diplomatic channels, in ten-day time after its obtaining certifies the copy of such agreement and sends it to state body;

establishment of discrepancy of contents of texts in languages of signing of the interstate or intergovernmental agreement informs on it state body, in ten-day time after receipt of the international treaty with the eliminated discrepancy certifies the copy of such agreement and sends it to state body.

In the cases determined in article 18 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "About international treaties of the Republic of Belarus" assurance of copies of interstate and intergovernmental agreements is performed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs without the corresponding request of state body.

4. If the interstate or intergovernmental agreement is signed:

in several languages, including the Belarusian and (or) Russian languages, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs certifies the copy of the international treaty on Belarusian or Russian at the choice of state body;

only in foreign languages, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs certifies the copy of such agreement in foreign language at the choice of state body.

5. The copy of the interstate or intergovernmental agreement is certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by putting down on the back of the last leaf of this copy of stamp "True copy on ___ sheets" (with indication of the number of sheets). Under it date of assurance and the signature of the chief of the main contractual legal department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in its absence - person fulfilling its duties are put.

The copy of such agreement is stitched and fastened with impress of a seal of the main contractual legal department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the last leaf under the specified signature on the back.
