RESOLUTION OF THE CABINET OF MINISTERS OF UKRAINE

of July 15, 1997 No. 742

About provision of special permissions to use of subsoil plots for the purpose of geological studying and production of strategically important minerals

(as amended on 11-02-2016)

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine DECIDES:

1. Approve the list of minerals and their minimum inventories or perspective resources which are considered strategically important for economy of Ukraine it (is applied).

Determine that special permissions to geological studying and mining, included in the specified list, are provided by Public service of geology and subsoil according to the conclusion of the Interdepartmental commission on questions of subsurface use according to procedure for provision of special permissions to use of natural resources. To structure of said commission enter the Prime Minister of Ukraine - the commission chairman, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources - the first deputy of the commission chairman, the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry - the vice-chairman of the Commission, the first deputy (deputy) the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, the First Deputy Minister of Finance, the first deputy (deputy) the minister, the deputy minister of ecology and natural resources, the head (deputy manager) of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Chairman of Public service of geology and subsoil, the Chairman of Public service concerning work, the representative of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The members and procedure for activities of the Commission are determined by its chairman.

The special permissions (licenses) for use of subsoil plots issued before entry into force of this resolution by the State committee on geology and use of subsoil according to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of August 31, 1995 to No. 709 for the purpose of the geological studying and mining which entered the list according to Item 1 of this resolution to consider valid.
