About minimum wage in the Kyrgyz Republic

Article 1. Minimum wage (minimum wage) - the guaranteed size of the monthly salary for work of the unskilled employee who completely worked regulation of working hours in case of accomplishment of simple works in normal working conditions.
Article 2. The size of minimum wage is established by the law of the Kyrgyz Republic on the republican budget for the corresponding year, proceeding from the principle of step-by-step increase it up to the size of subsistence minimum of the able-bodied person.
Article 3. The minimum wage is not used for calculation of surcharges and allowances, awards and other social payments, except for determinations of the size of the average monthly salary for calculation of pensions according to the legislation in the sphere of the national pension social insurance.
Article 4. This Law becomes effective since January 1, 2009.
To the government of the Kyrgyz Republic:
- bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law;
- develop and introduce in accordance with the established procedure in Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic the bill establishing procedure for determination of calculation and size of subsistence minimum in the Kyrgyz Republic.
