About environmentally friendly agricultural industry
This Law governs the relations connected with production, conversion and turnover of the environmentally friendly agricultural and food products ensuring health and safety of the population, the earth, water, plants and animals of the Azerbaijan Republic.
1.1. The basic concepts used in this Law have the following values:
1.1.1. environmentally friendly agricultural industry - cultivation of agricultural plants and cultivation of farm animals without use of chemical and synthetic (artificial) substances, and also production, conversion, turnover and certification of environmentally friendly agricultural and food products;
1.1.2. environmentally friendly agricultural and food products - the goods made and processed according to requirements of environmentally friendly agricultural industry, and also sold;
1.1.3. ecological observation - activities for studying of compliance to requirements of environmentally friendly agricultural industry of production and conversion in subjects of environmentally friendly agricultural industry of agricultural and food products, to conducting observations and analyses, preparation of information and its submission to relevant organs and business entities;
1.1.4. certification in environmentally friendly agricultural industry - the procedure of documentation performed by structure on assessment of conformity based on information of the supervisory body on compliance to requirements, the established technical regulatory legal acts in the field of food security, the stipulated in Clause 9 Laws of the Azerbaijan Republic "About food safety" productions and conversions in subjects of environmentally friendly agricultural industry of agricultural and food products;
