for the purpose of recognition of outstanding merits of the military personnel and veterans of boundary departments, and also other citizens of the State Parties of the CIS in the strengthening of the fighting commonwealth of the State Parties of the CIS, personal bravery and dedication shown in case of protection and protection of external borders of the State Parties of the Commonwealth solved:

1. Found the breastplate of Council of commanders of Border troops "The honourable frontier guard of the Commonwealth of Independent States".

2. REGULATIONS ON THE BREASTPLATE OF COUNCIL OF COMMANDERS OF BORDER TROOPS "THE HONOURABLE FRONTIER GUARD OF COMMONWEALTH OF INDEPENDENT STATES"

The breastplate "The honourable frontier guard of the Commonwealth of Independent States" (further - the breastplate) is the highest award of Council of commanders of Border troops.

1. Rewarding with the breastplate is recognition of outstanding merits of the military personnel and veterans of boundary departments, and also other citizens of the State Parties of the CIS:

in strengthening of the fighting commonwealth, friendship, neighborliness, mutual understanding between boundary departments of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States;

powerful contribution to development of boundary departments of the State Parties of the CIS and enhancement of service on protection and protection of external borders of the State Parties of the Commonwealth;

the personal bravery and dedication shown on duty on protection of external borders of the State Parties of the CIS.

2. The breastplate awards military personnel and veterans of border troops (departments), and also other citizens of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States awarded with distinction of Council of commanders of Border troops "For strengthening of borders of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States" and the breastplate of Council of commanders of Border troops "For difference in protection of borders of the State Parties of the CIS".

3. The decision on rewarding with the breastplate is made at meeting of Council of commanders of Border troops, the certificate to the breastplate is signed by the Chairman of the board of commanders of Border troops.

Delivery of the breastplate is performed by the member of council of commanders of Border troops who provided the candidate for rewarding.

4. The procedure for carrying and arrangement of the breastplate is determined by regulatory legal acts of the State Parties of the CIS.

5. For the purpose of promotion of merits of winners the breastplate the decision of Council of commanders of Border troops on rewarding with the breastplate, photos and sketches on winners are published in the Frontier Guard Sodruzhestva magazine and in other publications of boundary departments of the State Parties of the CIS and included in books of Honour of boundary departments of the State Parties of the CIS.

6. Additional benefits, guarantees and compensations according to the national legal system of the State Party of the CIS can be provided to persons awarded with the breastplate.

DESCRIPTION OF THE BREASTPLATE OF COUNCIL OF COMMANDERS OF BORDER TROOPS "THE HONOURABLE FRONTIER GUARD OF COMMONWEALTH OF INDEPENDENT STATES"

The breastplate of Council of commanders of Border troops "The honourable frontier guard of the Commonwealth of Independent States" is made of German silver, on the back there is screw with nut for attachment to clothes and the sequence number is engraved. Sign sizes: 45 x 27 mm.

The breastplate represents figured board with the imposed golden medallion - emblem of the CIS. The medallion is filled in with enamel of white and blue color with golden circle in the center. The board is framed with wreath with rivets. The field of board has horizontal notch. In the center of sign under medallion the relief of the stylized boundary post playing in the upper part for the field of board is placed.

The board is framed with laurel wreath of silvery color. On the lower part of board the tape of emerald enamel with text of golden color "HONOURABLE FRONTIER GUARD" (the drawing is attached) is located (*).
