based on the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Ukraine on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs affairs of June 24, 1993 and the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Ukraine on check points through frontier between the Russian Federation and Ukraine of February 8, 1995,

for the purpose of streamlining of movement through the Russian-Ukrainian frontier of alcoholic and tobacco products,

agreed about the following:

Article 1

For the purposes of the this Protocol the term "Alcoholic and Tobacco Products" means alcoholic and tobacco products on which according to the legislation of the states of the Parties the excise duty is established.

Article 2

1. The parties exercise customs control over movement through the Russian-Ukrainian frontier of alcoholic and tobacco products in the following items of the omission:

Suzemka - Zernovo

Valuyki - Poplars

Uspenskaya - Kvashino

Gukovo - Red Grave

automobile:

Troyebortnoye - Bachevsk

Nekhoteevka - Goptovka

Novoshakhtinsk - Dolzhansky

2. The parties do not allow movement of alcoholic and tobacco products through other check points.

Article 3

The parties perform exchange of information about the passed alcoholic and tobacco products instantly on the approved communication channels.

Article 4

According to the mutual written arrangement of the Parties in the this Protocol changes and additions can be made.

Article 5

The this Protocol becomes effective in thirty days from the date of its signing and affects for five years with its automatic prolongation the subsequent five-year periods if any of the Parties does not notify in writing other Party on the intention to terminate the this Protocol not later than three months before the end of the next five-year period.
