being guided by the Agreement of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States on cooperation of Customs Services concerning detention and return illegally of the exported and imported cultural values of April 15, 1994,

came to the following mutual understanding:

1. In case of identification of the fact of illicit movement through customs border of the Russian Federation and customs border of the Republic of Uzbekistan of the cultural values belonging to the Russian Federation or the Republic of Uzbekistan or if persons suspected of making of illegal export and import of cultural values are citizens of any of the specified states, the Parties on mutual basis aim to represent each other:

- information which does not contradict requirements of the current legislation of the state of each of the Parties about circumstances of identification and detention of cultural values;

- the description and photos of the withdrawn values;

- the information about legal entities and citizens of the state of each of the Parties involved in illegal export and import of cultural values if specified does not contradict provisions of the current legislation of the state of each of the Parties;

- data on vehicles on which cultural values, and methods of their concealment were transported.

2. The parties proceed from feasibility of informing each other on methods and methods of illegal export and import of cultural values without preliminary request.
