2. Recognize invalid:

paragraphs two and third Item 1 of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of March 22, 2007 No. 56 "About approval of regulations on information analysis departments of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and appendices No. No. 1 and 2 to it;

subitems 2 and 3 of Item 9 of appendix to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of May 20, 2008 No. 100 "About modification of some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan (The resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 9, 2008 No. PP-834 "About partial change of executive structure of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan")" (the joint venture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2008, No. 5, the Art. 19).

Regulations on Information analysis department concerning development of mechanical engineering, the electrotechnical and aviation industry, standardization of products

I. General provisions

1. The information analysis department concerning development of mechanical engineering, the electrotechnical and aviation industry, standardization of products (further - Department) is created according to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of August 8, 2008 No. 174 and is structural division of Executive office of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

2. Activities of Department are aimed at information and analytical providing the Cabinet of Ministers, its Presidium, and also Executive office of the Cabinet of Ministers on questions: developments of mechanical engineering, electrotechnical and aviation industry; mobilization and state reserves; standardization and metrology.

3. The department in the activities is guided by the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers, and also this Provision.

4. The department performs the activities under the leadership of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

II. Tasks and functions of Department

6. The main objectives of Department are:

a) in the sphere of development of mechanical engineering:

development and strategy implementation of development of the companies of mechanical engineering, aimed at upgrade and modernization of industry, creation of modern competitive productions on production with involvement of the international multinational companies with world famous trademarks;

assistance to increase in efficiency of cross-industry cooperation of the companies of automotive industry, agricultural mechanical engineering and other allied industries, for the purpose of more complete use of potential production, creation of new productions and workplaces, and also to carrying out diversification of production processes in the specified industries;

the organization of project development for localization of production of the components and details used at the companies of mechanical engineering, implementation of measures for optimization of import of the equipment, vehicles, raw materials and materials;
