- studying and application of the best domestic and foreign practices in the field of classification, sorting, processing and assessment of gemstones;

- carrying out preliminary purification of precious metals of the arriving in the form of scrap, technical and other products and details containing precious metals;

- carrying out ogranochny and jewelry works on agreements, and also accomplishment of state orders with additional payment to contractors;

- studying of environment of the external and internal markets of precious metals and gemstones;

- development of offers on enhancement of the legislation in the sphere of production and the address of precious metals and gemstones, and entering in accordance with the established procedure into higher body;

- safety and armed security forces of the State fund of precious metals and gemstones of the Republic of Tajikistan and State state republican company "Tilloi Tochik";

3. The state storage of values performs also other functions provided by the current legislation.
