The protocol between the Kyrgyz Republic and Ukraine on the entry of Ukraine into the World Trade Organization

The Kyrgyz Republic and Ukraine (further - the Parties) held meeting within process of the entry of Ukraine into the World Trade Organization (WTO) on November 14, 2007 in mountains. Bishkek. As a result of meeting of the Party successfully completed bilateral negotiations concerning access to the markets within process of the entry of Ukraine into the World Trade Organization (WTO) and agreed as follows.

The Kyrgyz Republic accepts the Ukrainian tariff offer on goods.

Ukraine grants the initial rights of negotiations (INR) to the Kyrgyz Republic on the goods listed in Appendix to this Protocol.

Ukraine confirms that action of the anti-dumping duty applied by the Ukrainian side on electric glow lamps of general purpose of the Kyrgyz production expires on January 15, 2008.

After entry into force of the Agreement of the WTO concerning Ukraine the Parties will also continue to apply further in the relations among themselves provisions of the Free-trade agreement which is signed between Ukraine and the Kyrgyz Republic on May 26, 1995 (further "CST"), on which the Committee of the WTO concerning regional trade agreements in the document WT/REG74/N/1 was notified. The parties also agreed that exit of the either party from CST can take place only by mutual consent of the Parties. If any of the Parties leaves CST, other Party will have the right to stop in the relation to the Party which left CST, application of such concessions or other agreement obligations of the WTO what she recognizes pertinent under such circumstances.

Both parties realize notification requirement of the Secretariat of the WTO about completion of bilateral negotiations and show the willingness to complete this formality as soon as possible.

It is made in mountains. Bishkek on November 14, 2007 in triplicate in the Russian and English languages, and all texts are equally authoritative.
