The government DECIDES:

1. Found the National commission on intellectual property.

2. Approve:

Staff of the National commission on intellectual property according to the appendix N 1;

Regulations on the National commission on intellectual property according to the appendix N 2.

3. Determine that in case of release of members of the commission from posts of their obligation as a part of the commission will be carried out by persons who are again appointed to the corresponding positions without edition of the new order of the Government.

Valeriu's laser is the deputy prime minister, the Minister of Economic Affairs, the commission chairman

Bolokan Lilia is the CEO of the State agency on intellectual property, the vice-chairman of the Commission

Bug Narchis is the director of the department of copyright and the related rights of the State agency of intellectual property, the secretary of the Commission

Don school is the deputy minister of information technologies and communications

Regulations on the National commission on intellectual property

I. General provisions

1. The national commission on intellectual property (further - the commission) which is consultative body under the Government is founded for the purpose of coordination and ensuring interactions of the ministries, other central administrative authorities, and also owners of the intellectual property rights in work on development and consolidation of national system of intellectual property, suppression and the prevention of violation of intellectual property rights and fight against counterfeiting and piracy in the Republic of Moldova.

2. The legal main activities of the commission the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, other national regulations, the international agreements in the field which party the Republic of Moldova is is.

2-1. The commission performs the activities on the basis of the following principles:

a) cooperation of the central and local authorities of public management, the public and private sector, owners of the intellectual property rights in activities for planning, development and implementation of measures for suppression and the prevention of offenses in the field, and also on strengthening and development of system of protection of intellectual property;

b) establishment of the relations of the cooperation between the involved departments based on compatibility, trust, open and intensive dialogue;

c) public nature of commission sessions;

d) attraction to participation in work of the Commission of representatives of private sector, owners, and also experts;

e) determination and clear understanding by the people involved of role and the conferred responsibility in case of goal achievement of the Commission;

f) decision making of the Commission on the basis of broad consultative process and providing mechanisms for their realization;

g) ensuring transparency, clarity and availability of information on activities of the Commission.

II. Rights and obligations of the commission

3. Fundamental obligations of the commission are:

a) coordination of actions for suppression and the prevention of offenses in the sphere of intellectual property, fight against counterfeiting and piracy in the Republic of Moldova;

b) consultation and determination of the measures and actions aimed at the development and strengthening of system of protection of intellectual property;
