Based on part (6) Article 66 of the Labor code Government DECIDES:

1. Approve Regulations on procedure for filling, storage and accounting of the service record according to appendix No. 1.

2. Assign to heads of bodies of the central and local public authority, and also the companies, irrespective of legal form and pattern of ownership:

appointment as the order (order, decision, resolution) of persons responsible for execution of service records;

ensuring strict and uniform observance of rules of filling, storage and accounting of service records.

3. Recognize invalid some orders of the Government according to appendix No. 2.

Regulations on procedure for filling, storage and accounting of the service record

I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. The service record is the main document on labor activity of workers in the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

2. Service records open without fail for all workers who worked at the relevant company at least 5 days irrespective of type of property and form of business of the last, including freelance employees, the workers who are foreign citizens and stateless persons.

3. Each worker has the right to have only one service record of new sample. Exception cases, stipulated in Item constitute the 10th this provision.

Possession of several service records of new sample involves invalidity of the records containing in all available service records, except for the service record issued initially and the additional service record created according to Item 10 of this provision.

4. The workers going to work (except for those which did not work earlier or go to part-time job), shall show the service record which is drawn up in accordance with the established procedure.

II. FILLING OF SERVICE RECORDS

Section 1. General instructions

5. Service records of new sample open for all workers - as for persons employed for the first time and for persons having service records of old sample.

6. When opening the service record of new sample in the service record of old sample after the last entry in the Section "Data on Work" record without number is made: "The service record of new sample" with indication of number, series and date of opening of the service record is open.

7. After opening of the service record of new model of record in the service record of old sample are not made.

8. Service records of old and new sample are stored at the company where the worker is employed.

9. In case of employment on other company the worker has the right to provide only the service record of new sample, keeping at the same time the service record of old sample at himself.

10. In case in the service record all pages of appropriate sections are completed, the new service record with continuation of numbering of records opens. Filling of this service record is performed with observance of regulations of this provision.

11. Filling of service records is made in state language.
