About approval of the Regulations on the State committee of Ukraine for nationalities and religions
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:
1. Approve Regulations on the State committee of Ukraine for nationalities and religions which are applied.
2. Declare invalid the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of August 18, 2005 N 770 "About approval of the Regulations on State department for religions" (The Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2005, N 34, the Art. 2047).
3. And religions to submit to the state Committee on Ethnic Matters proposals concerning reduction of acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in compliance with this resolution in a month.
4. This resolution becomes effective since March 1, 2007.

1. The state committee of Ukraine for nationalities and religions (Goskomnatsreligy) is the central executive body which activities go and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine.
Goskomnatsreligy is specially authorized central executive body for migration in the borders determined by the legislation on refugees.
2. Goskomnatsreligy in the activities is guided by the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, and also the presidential decrees of Ukraine and resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted according to the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and this Provision.
3. Goskomnatsreligy is the main tasks:
participation in forming and ensuring realization of state policy in the field of the mezhdunatsionalny relations, ensuring protection of the rights of the ethnic minorities of Ukraine deported on national sign of persons who returned to Ukraine (further - persons who returned), and also in the field of religion, the relations with church and the religious organizations;
