About the prices of the natural and liquefied gas
For the purpose of rational and economical use of the natural and liquefied gas and approach of current prices to the level reflecting real costs for its production and realization I decide:
1. Establish about the May 1, 1997 natural gas price (with the value added tax) realized to the companies and the organizations of Turkmenistan in the amount of 24 manats for 1 cubic meter.
2. Make leave of natural gas to the utility companies and the organizations which are on budget financing for the list approved by the Ministry of Economics and finance of Turkmenistan at a discount in the amount of 50 percent from the cost of gas specified in Item 1 of this resolution.
3. Establish about the May 1, 1997 gas price consumed by the population over limit:
gas natural - 10 manats for 1 cubic meter,
the gas liquefied - 1000 manats for 1 kg.
4. Declare invalid appendix No. 1 to the resolution of the President of Turkmenistan of December 27 of 1995 G. No. 2434 "About procedure for pricing and rates in connection with development of the market relations in Turkmenistan" regarding the wholesale price for natural gas and retail prices on the gas consumed by the population over limit.
