Cooperation within our Consolidation voluntary. Each country resolves issue of feasibility of participation in cooperation according to the interests.

The summit of heads of states of GUUAM in Chisinau gave new breath to the Consolidation which took step in the direction of creation of the Organization. The purposes and tasks of cooperation which were determined during the Summit completely correspond to the fundamental principles of activities of Consolidation, the principles of the UN and OSCE.

The states Guam regard as of paramount importance the principles and values of democracy and rule of law for stability and progress. Within this concept of the country Guam fight against terrorism and the related dangerous types of crimes, interact in prevention of drug trafficking, light and small arms, human trafficking, and in safety of transport corridors that in complex shall promote creating favorable conditions for development of the economic relations both in the region Guam, and in wider format.

Expansion of fields of activity within GUAM is caused by modern political realities and new challenges, and demonstrates strengthening of role of this Consolidation in the region.

The countries Guam, everyone and all in general, regard Uzbekistan as the friendly state and the partner in political, economic, cultural and other measurements, the country with which we are connected by the general historical past.

Exit of Uzbekistan from GUUAM will not affect quality and level of our friendly partnership with it at all. The countries Guam are interested in further development of cooperation with Uzbekistan both in bilateral, and in international formats.

At the same time, exit of Uzbekistan from structure of GUUAM will not make negative impact neither on the high level of interaction, nor on rates and the directions of development of cooperation within the Consolidation.

Due to exit of Uzbekistan from structure of GUUAM, his participants agree to hereinafter refer to as the combining GUAM.
