About rates for electrical and heat energy

Due to the change in price for energy carriers and for the purpose of ensuring normal work of energy industry the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan decides:

1. Establish since April 1, 1997 rates on released by the State-owned joint-stock holding company of "Barka Tochik":

a) electrical energy

for industrial and equated to them, and also other production agricultural and nonindustrial consumers (except state-financed organizations) - in the amount of 1, the 35th cent of the USA, the companies of Management for corrective cases Ministry of Internal Affairs-0,8 of cent of the USA, for one kWh;

for municipal consumers, the urban electrified transportation, state-financed organizations, the population, pumps and pumping points on water supply, irrespective of departmental subordination and to agricultural water supply system - in the amount of 0,50 rubl for one kvt.chast.

b) heat energy

for the industry, hothouse and greenhouse farms and hotels in the amount of 20 US dollars for one Gcal;

for bath-and-laundry and the companies of dry cleaning in the amount of 1000 rubl, wholesale consumers - resellers and housing cooperatives-100 of rubl for one Gcal.

To the companies and the organizations to make payment for the consumed energy in terms of the Tajik rubl on the rate determined by the Interbank currency exchange of the Republic of Tajikistan to condition put on payments.

The state-owned joint-stock holding company of "Barka Tochik" to set for the population the power consumption limit differentiated on subscribers in month and for electric power consumption over the set limit to apply fivefold rate.

Permit the State-owned joint-stock holding company of "Barka Tochik" to attract to performance of works of specialists on contractual basis in quantity up to 15 percent from normative number with reference of these costs for product cost.

2. To the Ministry of Economics and external commercial relations of the Republic of Tajikistan together with State-owned joint-stock holding company of "Barka Tochik" to make changes to the price list No. 09-01-1996 the "Rates for electrical and heat energy" following from this resolution.

3. The state-owned joint-stock holding company of "Barka Tochik" to establish fivefold rate for the consumers of electricity using the electroboiler for development of heat power.

4. Declare invalid the order of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan of July 9, 1996 No. 288 "About rates for electrical and heat energy".
