PRESIDENTIAL DECREE OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

About increase in the amount of payments for honorary titles

(as amended on 14-11-2024)

For the purpose of worthy assessment of work and ensuring extra material fee of the citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who made the significant contribution to development of science, literature, culture and art, economic, intellectual and spiritual potential of our country, education of the healthy and comprehensively developed younger generation, and also to wide recognition of Uzbekistan on the international scene:

1. Increase since January 1, 2008 benefits amounts to persons having honorary titles, including honorary titles "National" and "Honored worker" - by the 2nd minimum wages, and honorary title "Deserved" - at 1 basic settlement size, having established them in sizes according to appendix.

2. Determine that payments to persons having honorary titles including to persons having honorary titles of the Republic of Karakalpakstan are performed monthly at the expense of the following means:

to persons performing labor activity in state-financed organizations - at the expense of the relevant budgets;

to persons performing labor activity in self-supporting business entities - at the expense of own means of business entities;

to receivers of pension - at the expense of means of the republican budget through the organization in which pension, and the off-budget Pension fund under the Ministry of Economics and finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan is granted;

to receivers of benefit - at the expense of means of the republican budget the National agency of social protection in case of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

3. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan in ten-day time to approve procedure for appointment and implementation of payments to persons having honorary titles.

4. To the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the interested ministries and departments to make in the Cabinet of Ministers offers on the changes and amendments in the legislation following from this Decree in a month.

5. To impose control of execution of this Decree on the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mirziyoyev Sh. M.
