According to the Law of Ukraine "About protection of the economic competition" and international standards according to the shaped coding of PRIKAZYVAYU:

1. Approve Regulations on the shaped coding of goods which are applied.

2. To management of trading activity to register this order in Ministry of Justice.

3. Consider invalid order Mvestorga of 27.08.96 N530 "About Approval of the Regulations on the Shaped Coding of Goods" (with changes and amendments) registered in Ministry of Justice on September 11, 1996 for N517/1542.

4. To impose control of execution of this order on the Deputy State secretary Stetsenko V. O.

Regulations on the shaped coding of goods

1. Terms in this Provision are used in such value:

goods as object of accounting (trade item) - any separate kind of product or service concerning which there is need to receive the certain in advance noted data which can be the deliveries used at any time during its address in any system;

the subject of housekeeping - physical or legal the litsouchastnik of the economic relations enabling in Ukraine production and/or product sales (performance of works and provision of services) with the purpose or without the profit earning purpose;

the GS1 system - system of standards, techniques, installations, rules which are administered by GS1, international association of the concerning automatic identification, the shaped coding and electronic transfer of the data and which are world-wide recognized by participants business otnosheniypolzovatel of such system;

Prefix of GS1 of the company - the set of figures (number) consisting of number which the GS1 international association provides to the national organization - the member of GS1, and unique number of the company which is determined by the national organization - the member of GS1. The prefix of GS1 of the company is component of identification number GS1;

identification number GS1 - number created according to standards of the GS1 system for the purpose of ensuring unambiguous identification of object of accounting, in particular goods item;

GS1 bar code - the bar code created according to standards of the GS1, system in which, in particular, is displayed identification number GS1 (is coded). electronic data exchange - data transmission, structured according to the approved and acknowledged GS1 standards of electronic messages, from one computer system to another electronic means and with the minimum intervention of the person.

2. This Provision is developed according to Item 1 of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 29.05.96 of N574 "About Implementation of the Shaped Coding of Goods" (with changes), and also the Economic code of Ukraine, the Laws of Ukraine "About fundamentals of the state regulatory policy in the sphere of economic activity" and "About standardization", the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 12.12.94 of N821 "About Association of Commodity Numbering of Ukraine "Dzhies1 Ukraina" (with changes), the Regulations on national fund of regulating documents approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 18.09.2002 of N 1395, rules of GS1 international association and international standards of the GS1 system on automatic identification, the shaped coding and electronic data exchange on purpose:

creations of conditions for implementation and distribution in Ukraine of information technologies of automatic identification and electronic data exchange and creation of information base for control and management of the commodity-money address, enhancement of systems of accounting of products (goods and services);

increases in competitiveness of the Ukrainian goods in the domestic and foreign markets;

integration of domestic subjects of housekeeping into the world markets and networks of flows of commodities at bases of the modern conventional standards of business communication;

expense reduction and time of goods turnover due to application of electronic means of accounting in case of production of goods, its warehousing, transportation, realization and the reporting to state bodies;

assistance to increase in efficiency of business commercial cooperation of subjects of housekeeping by widespread introduction and application of standards and practice of identification of goods and trading partners and exchange of information about them which on initiatives of the world business community are administered by GS1 international association;

assistance to distribution among subjects of housekeeping of Ukraine of practice of use of system of electronic data exchange with use of the GS1 standards (EANCOM and XML);

creations of prerequisites for implementation in Ukraine of technologies of tracing and control of the flows of commodities in real time based on the standards of radio-frequency identification recognized by business community (Electronic product code - ERS) and exchange of information;

assistance to reducing unproductive expenses of subjects of housekeeping - business partners and to increase in accuracy and reliability of data (data) in information systems on products (goods, services), other objects of accounting thanks to use of technologies and techniques of synchronization of data based on standards of the GS1 system.

This Provision extends to the subjects of housekeeping acting in Ukraine.

3. According to rules of the GS1 system and powers conferred by the legislation of Ukraine, Association of Commodity Numbering of Ukraine to "Dzhies1 Ukraina" (further - Dzhies1 Ukraine Association) as the national organization - the member of GS1 provides in the territory of Ukraine:
