The agreement between the Ministry of Sport and tourism of the Republic of Belarus and the State committee on physical culture and sport under the Government of the Republic of Armenia about cooperation in the field of physical culture and sport

The Ministry of Sport and tourism of the Republic of Belarus and the State committee on physical culture and sport under the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the hereinafter referred to as Parties,

recognizing cooperation in the field of physical culture and sport as one of the major and necessary elements in development and strengthening of friendship between the people of both states,

aiming to lay the foundation for expansion and encouragement of relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Armenia,

signed this agreement as follows:

Article 1

The parties will coordinate the actions for the purpose of development and strengthening of the international sports cooperation by holding meetings and consultations concerning the international sports and Olympic Movement, coordination of actions in the international sports bodies.

The parties will promote participation of the Belarusian and Armenian athletes, trainers, organizers of sports movement in the competitions and the international sporting events held in the states of both Parties.

The parties will encourage holding educational training camps, joint trainings national, the teams and club teams on different types of sport on sports bases of the states of both Parties for the purpose of increase in level of training and sports skill.

Article 2

The parties will promote experience exchange on the organization of sports and mass actions, attraction of the population to regular trainings by physical culture.

The parties will exchange scientific and methodical information on problems of the organization of improvement and rest of the population means of physical culture and sport.

Article 3

The parties will promote preparation, retraining and exchange trainer's and research and educational personnel.

The parties will promote participation of the Belarusian and Armenian scientists, specialists in the scientific congresses, symposiums, seminars concerning sport organized in both states.

The parties will promote exchange of scientific works, information on the last achievements in the field of elite sport, sports diagnostics, about methods of biomedical support and use of the modern scientific equipment and equipment when training high-class athletes.

Article 4

The parties, confirming fidelity to the principles of fair play, will perform collateral actions in fight against use of the prohibited means and methods when training athletes out of and during the competitions.

Article 5

The parties will promote experience exchange in the field of construction and operation of sports constructions, production and acquisition of sportswear and stock.

Article 6

The parties will promote establishment of direct contacts between federations on sports, the centers of the Olympic preparation, scientific and educational institutions of sports profile which will be performed on mutually acceptable conditions.

Article 7

For successful realization of cooperation of the Party agreed to adopt the annual program of sports exchanges which will be developed and signed in the terms which are previously approved between the Parties.

Article 8

The parties determine that the forms of cooperation stated in Articles of this agreement in the field of physical culture and sport will be performed on the terms of mutual respect, equality, observance of the rights and obligations of the Parties. The form, the program and financial sales terms of this agreement will be determined by relevant organs of management of sport and the sports organizations of the states of both Parties by consultations.

Article 9

This agreement becomes effective from the date of receipt of the last written notice of the Parties of accomplishment of interstate procedures by them, necessary for entry into force of this agreement, and is effective within 4 (four) years. After the specified term operation of the Agreement automatically is prolonged for the subsequent four-year period provided that any of the Parties will not express desire to stop its action by the written notice sent to other Party through diplomatic channels not later than 6 months before the expiration.

Cancellation of this agreement will not influence accomplishment of all projects and programs begun during action of this agreement if the Parties do not agree about other.

From the effective date this agreement is terminated by the Agreement on cooperation in the field of physical culture and sport between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Armenia signed on October 26, 1993 in St. Petersburg.

It is made in Yerevan on October 23, 2006 in two authentic copies, everyone in the Russian and Armenian languages, and all texts are equally authoritative.

In case of disagreements in case of interpretation of provisions of this agreement the text in Russian has advantage.
