In pursuance of resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of January 17, 2001 and of February 1, 2001 the No. 63 Cabinet of Ministers decides No. 32:

1. Approve:

Regulations on the Uzbek research and production center of agricultural industry according to appendix No. 2;

2. To the ministry of agricultural and water economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in two-month time together with the interested ministries and departments to develop and submit for approval in the Cabinet of Ministers regulations on procedure for the conclusion and execution of contracts of producers of agricultural products with the serving organizations.

3. Consider invalid:

the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of August 16, 1995 No. 322 "About approval of the Regulations on the Main state inspectorate for procurements and product quality of the Ministry of agricultural and water economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (the joint venture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1995, N 8, the Art. 28);

Regulations on the Uzbek research and production center of agricultural industry

I. General provisions

1. The Uzbek research and production center of agricultural industry (further the Center) is part of the Ministry of agricultural and water economy.

2. The center is merging of research institutions and other scientific and scientific and auxiliary organizations of agricultural profile.

3. The center acts as the coordinating body of the scientific research in the sphere of agro-industrial complex conducted by scientific institutions and higher educational institutions of the republic irrespective of their departmental accessory.

expansion and improvement of quality of scientific research in the field of selection and seed farming of crops, testing of selection achievements;

deep development of scientific problems of livestock production and breeding case, veterinary science and veterinary sanitation, creation of evidence-based systems of treatment-and-prophylactic actions;

development on system basis for each territory of the republic of special maps on development of agricultural industry with reflection of the available problems and scientifically based ways of their decision concerning improvement of meliorative condition and increase in fertility of lands, implementation of intensive agrotechnologies of cultivation of crops, increase in profitability and cost reduction in agricultural production;

coordination of research activities with research institutions and higher educational institutions of the republic.

III. Functions of the center

8. In the field of the organization of scientific research:

the paragraph two is excluded;

creation and implementation of progressive agrotechnologies, new generations of high-productive and reliable farm vehicles and mechanisms;

participation in development of schemes of crop rotations taking into account recovery and increase in fertility of the soil, especially on so-so and strongly salted lands;
