About measures for enhancement of management structure of gold mining of the republic

For the purpose of enhancement of management structure of gold mining, forming of the finished cycle on production, conversion and production of precious metals, creating favorable conditions for attraction of foreign investments in reconstruction and development of the companies of industry the Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Take into consideration that founders of the Uzbek association of the companies for gold mining and processing of diamonds (Uzalmazzoloto) make the decision on its liquidation.

Agree with the proposal of founders of Uzalmazzoloto association on creation of liquidation commission in structure according to appendix No. 1.

2. Include in structure Navoiy MMC and JSC Almalyksky MMC in the form of structural divisions the state companies according to appendix No. 2, with their corresponding liquidation as independent legal entities.

3. Transfer to the jurisdiction by JSC Almalyksky MMC of Uzpromavtomatika LLC which was earlier part of Uzalmazzoloto association.

4. Liquidation commission to abolish the Uzalmazzoloto associations of the company and the organization which were earlier part according to appendix No. 3.

5. To the State Property Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the established procedure:

provide privatization of the Oltin of Emba boarding house located in the Tashkent region in 2002.

6. To the ministry of macroeconomic and statistics, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of external commercial relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, other ministries and departments in ten-day time to make corresponding changes to indicators of the material and cost balances approved for 2002, proceeding from the organizational transformations provided by this resolution in gold mining industry.

9. To the state committee of industrial safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State committee on geology and mineral resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Committee of precious metals and gemstones under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with Navoiy MMC and JSC Almalyksky MMC:

provide control of completeness of working off of the transferred inventories and systematic comparison of the intelligence data and operation of gold fields for the purpose of rational use of subsoil;

approve in accordance with the established procedure, after carrying out the analysis of technical and economic indicators, standard rates of losses, impoverishments in case of production of gold-bearing ores and extraction of precious metals at gold-extracting factories.

10. Recognize invalid:

the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of March 19, 1994 No. 150 "About questions of the organization and activities of the Uzbek association of the companies for gold mining and processing of diamonds Uzalmazzoloto;

the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 20, 1998 No. 165 "About introduction of amendments to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of March 19, 1994 No. 150 "About questions of the organization and activities of the Uzbek association of the companies for gold mining and processing of diamonds Uzalmazzoloto;

Item 6 of appendix No. 8 to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of December 17, 1998 No. 525 "About measures for deepening of privatization and increase in receipts in the government budget of means from sale of state-owned property in 1999-2000".
