According to article 32 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About protection of public health" the Cabinet of Ministers decides.

1. Approve:

the list of socially important diseases according to appendix No. 1;

privileges for the patients having socially important diseases according to appendix No. 2.

2. To provide to Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of areas and Tashkent, the ministries and departments, organizations and the organizations provision of all privileges provided for persons having socially important diseases.

3. To the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan to determine amount and types of medical care for persons having socially important diseases in a month.

4. To impose control over the implementation of this resolution on department of social problems and culture of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

List of socially important diseases

1. Tuberculosis.

2. Oncological diseases, malignant new growths.

3. Diseases, sexually transmitted.

4. AIDS.

5. Leprosy.

6. Mental diseases.

Privileges for the patients having socially important diseases

For the patients having tuberculosis of any form.

Resolve free pass by the patient to the place of treatment (according to the provided permits) and back motor transport, or by rail once a year, at the expense of the local budget.

Extraordinary allocation of housing for the patients living in hostels or in the multiinhabited apartments with children.

The extraordinary device in children's day nursery, gardens, boarding schools, on establishment of antitubercular dispensaries, healthy children from families where there is TB patient.
