Procedure for issue of the certificate confirming the right of the private security company or security division of the legal entity to acquisition, storage of special means and their proper use

1. This Procedure is prepared according to Item 1.5 of the Presidential decree of the Azerbaijan Republic "About application of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About non-state (private) security activities" of June 21, 2007 No. 596 and establishes procedure for issue of the certificate confirming the right of the private security company or security division of the legal entity to acquisition, storage of special means and their proper use.

2. For the purpose of receipt of the certificate confirming the right to the acquisition, storage of special means and their proper use, the private security company or the legal entity creating security division file petition in the relevant structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic.

2.1. Together with the statement the following documents are submitted:

2.1.1. legal entities - copies of the license, issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic, and certificate on passing of state registration in the Ministry of Justice of the Azerbaijan Republic or the State Tax Administration under the Ministry of Economics of the Azerbaijan Republic;

2.1.2. the legal entities creating security divisions founded in the territory of the Azerbaijan Republic by foreign legal entities or foreigners and stateless persons, including the legal entities created with direct or indirect participation of the foreign capital - the copy of the license, issued by Service of state security of the Azerbaijan Republic;

2.1.3. other legal entities creating security divisions the copy of the license, issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic.

3. The relevant structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic grant certificates to the private security companies or the legal entities creating security divisions within 3 working days from the moment of receipt of the address.
