According to the Decision of Council of heads of Customs Services of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States of June 7, 2006 No. 4/43, which approves the Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Commonwealth of Independent States (the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the CIS) on the basis of the 4th edition of the Harmonized commodity description and coding system for the purpose of unification of measures of customs and tariff and non-tariff regulation of foreign economic activity, maintaining customs statistics of foreign trade of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic decides:

1. Enact since January 1, 2008 enclosed:

- The commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Commonwealth of Independent States (the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the CIS) on the basis of the 4th edition of the Harmonized commodity description and coding system;

- the general Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of Eurasian economic community (the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of EurAsEC) on the basis of the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the CIS.

2. To the Ministry of economic development and trade of the Kyrgyz Republic, the State Customs Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic to be guided by the specified types of the Commodity nomenclature from the date of their introduction in action.

3. This resolution becomes effective from the date of official publication.
