About some measures for control of external compulsory third party car insurance

For the purpose of ensuring control of external compulsory third party car insurance the Government DECIDES:

1. Equip Boundary police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with functions of control of the availability at users of vehicles of the policies of external compulsory third party car insurance issued in the territory of the State Parties of the Agreement between national bureaus of insurance of state members of European economic space and other associated states signed by National bureau of insurers of vehicles, and also functions of control of validity of policies in Items of crossing of frontier of the Republic of Moldova.

2. Prohibit the omission through frontier of vehicles in the absence of external compulsory third party car insurance.

3. To supervision body to submit Boundary police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs within 5-day term the certified samples of the insurance policies "Green card" and serial numbers, to the distributed insurance companies issuing the insurance policies "Green card".

4. This resolution becomes effective along with enforcement of the Law on obligatory civil liability insurance for the damage caused by N414-XVI vehicles of December 22, 2006. (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2007, Art. N32-35, 112).
