According to article 118 of the Code of civil protection of Ukraine the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Approve the Procedure and conditions of payment of the disposable monetary assistance in case of death (death), injury or wound, disease or disability of faces of the private and the commanding structure of service of civil protection which are applied.

2. To public service on emergency situations to perform according to this resolution of payment of the disposable monetary assistance in case of death (death), injury or wound, disease or disability of faces of the private and the commanding structure of service of civil protection at the expense of the means provided in the government budget on the specified purposes.

Procedure and conditions of payment of the disposable monetary assistance in case of death (death), injury or wound, disease or disability of faces of the private and the commanding structure of service of civil protection

1. In case of death (death) of faces of the private and the commanding structure of bodies and divisions of civil protection during accomplishment of service duties to families of the died (dead), and in the absence of family the disposable monetary assistance in the amount of ten-year cash cover of the died (dead) on the last positions which they held is paid to parents and dependents of such persons.

Persons determined according to articles 30 and 31 of the Law of Ukraine "About pension providing persons discharged from military service and some other persons" have the right to the disposable monetary assistance in case of death (death) of faces of the private and the commanding structure. At the same time parents and the wife (husband) have the right to noted help irrespective of age and working capacity.

Face of the private and the commanding structure are considered carrying out service duties, in time:

stay in the territory of body, division, the organization, organization, educational institution in which they serve (further - division), during the time determined by the schedule (lesson schedule) including breaks if it is caused by office need;

the directions on service or from service, and also during office trip and return to the duty station;

stay out of the territory of division if it is connected with accomplishment of obligations of face of the private and the commanding structure or the order of the corresponding chief;

accomplishment of the public debt which in particular is not connected with service and also it is long on rescuing of human life, protection of state-owned property, respect for office discipline and protection of law and order.

2. The monetary assistance is paid:

1) to faces of the private and the commanding structure in case of injury or wound, disease without approach of disability connected with accomplishment of service duties in the amount of which is determined taking into account disability degree as a percentage of three-year cash cover;

2) to faces of the private and the commanding structure in case of approach of disability during service and to persons, dismissed from service, in case of disability approach not later than in three months after dismissal and if disability came owing to disease or accident which took place during service, irrespective of the term which passed after dismissal from service, in the amount of:

48-month cash cover - to disabled people of the I group;

42-month cash cover - to disabled people of the II group;

36-month cash cover - to disabled people of III group;

3) to faces of the private and the commanding structure and persons, dismissed from service, in case of approach of disability owing to accomplishment of service duties in the amount of:

60-month cash cover - to disabled people of the I group;

54-month cash cover - to disabled people of the II group;

48-month cash cover - to disabled people of III group.

3. The size of lump-sum allowance is determined proceeding from salary by special rank, percentage length-of-service allowance, official pay rate on the last position which was held by face of the private or the commanding structure in day of death (death), injury or wound, disease, disability establishment, and person, dismissed from service, - in day of dismissal.

For determination of the extent of the monetary assistance which is paid to family (in case of its absence - to parents and dependents) faces of the private or the commanding structure who died during direct participation in anti-terrorist operation, ensuring its carrying out, being directly in areas of conducting anti-terrorist operation, or died as a result of the wounds got during such participation to cash cover proceeding from which calculation of benefit is perfromed, the official pay rate, salary on special rank, percentage length-of-service allowance and other monthly additional types of cash cover (increase in official pay rate, the allowance, surcharge, remuneration, award), but no more than 5075 hryvnias per month join.

If face of the private or the commanding structure within two years after primary establishment of disability or extent of disability without establishment of disability in case of repeated survey it is established according to the solution of medico-social commission of experts the highest group or other reason of disability or bigger percent of disability, grants it the right to one-time money allowance in bigger size, it is paid taking into account earlier paid amount.

4. For payment of the disposable monetary assistance in case of death (death) of face of the private or the commanding structure members of his family, and in case of their absence parents and dependents, submit to division or to its legal successor the following documents:

the statement from each full age family member, and in the presence of minor children from other of parents or guardians or custodians about payment of the monetary assistance;

the statement from the order on exception of the died face of the private or the commanding structure from lists of staff of Service;

the resolution of the central medical commission of experts of GSChS on causal relationship of death with accomplishment of service duties;

the copy of the death certificate of face of the private or the commanding structure;

the copy of the certificate of birth of face of the private or the commanding structure - for payment of the monetary assistance to parents;
