The governments of state members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties, being guided by the Agreement between state members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on Regional anti-terrorist structure of June 7, 2002, the Security agreement of protection of the classified information within Regional anti-terrorist structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization of June 17, 2004 and the Agreement on databank of Regional anti-terrorist structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization of June 17, 2004, aiming to provide technical information security in Regional anti-terrorist structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, being effective according to the legislation of the states and the conventional principles and rules of international law, agreed as follows:

"information" - the classified information, in the value determined in Article 1 of the Security agreement of protection of the classified information within Regional anti-terrorist structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization of June 17, 2004;
"technical information security" - complex of actions for prevention of information leakage on technical channels, unauthorized access to it, according to the prevention of impacts for the purpose of destruction (destruction) or misstatement of information in the course of its creation, storage, processing and transfer;

The parties cooperate in the following directions:
development of regulating legal, regulating and methodical documents for Regional anti-terrorist structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the field of technical information security in Regional anti-terrorist structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization;
preparation, retraining and advanced training of specialists of the Parties on the basis of developed qualification requirements on technical information security;
development, production, delivery and use in Regional anti-terrorist structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization of samples of scientific and technical products and means of technical information security;
rendering to Regional anti-terrorist structure Shanghai Cooperation Organization of services in complex engineering supervision;
holding joint scientific conferences, symposiums, exhibitions concerning technical information security.
The governments of state members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization within thirty days after accomplishment of the interstate procedures necessary for entry into force of this agreement, notify depositary in writing on the competent authorities responsible for implementation of this agreement.
In the Shanghai Cooperation Organization the body responsible for implementation of this agreement, the Regional anti-terrorist structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is.
