Section I. General provisions

Article 1. Persons to whom operation of this Law extends

Conditions, regulations and the procedure for provision of pensions provided by this Law extend:

a) on the following categories of persons:

persons passing military service as officers, ensigns and warrant officers or military service under the contract as soldiers, sailors, sergeants and foremen in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Joint Armed Forces of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Federal Border Service and bodies of the border service of the Russian Federation, in internal and railway troops, in troops of national guard of the Russian Federation, federal bodies of government communication and information, troops of civil defense, bodies of the Federal Security Service (counterintelligence) and border troops, bodies of foreign intelligence, bodies of military prosecutor's office, military investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, bodies of the state protection, federal executive body in the sphere of mobilization preparation and mobilization, other military forming of the Russian Federation created in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, and families of these persons (except for persons specified in the Item of this Article, and their families);

faces of officers, the ensigns and warrant officers passing military service in Armed Forces, troops and bodies of Committee for State Security, in internal and railway troops, other military forming of the former USSR, and family of these persons (except for persons specified in the Item of this Article, and their families);

faces of the private and the commanding structure, serving in law-enforcement bodies of the Russian Federation, the former USSR, the Public fire service, drug trafficking monitoring bodies and psychotropic substances and organizations and bodies of criminal executive system, troops of national guard of the Russian Federation, bodies of forced execution of the Russian Federation, and family of these persons (except for persons specified in the Item of this Article, and their families);

the persons specified in article 4 of this Law, passing military service, service in law-enforcement bodies, drug trafficking monitoring bodies and psychotropic substances and organizations and bodies of criminal executive system in other states and family of these persons - under condition if implementation of their provision of pensions according to the legislation of the state in the territory of which they live is provided by the agreements (agreements) on social security signed by the Russian Federation or the former USSR with these states;

b) on persons passing military service as officers, ensigns and warrant officers or military service under the contract as soldiers, sailors, sergeants and foremen in Armed Forces, the Federal Border Service and bodies of the border service of the Russian Federation, in internal and railway troops, in troops of national guard of the Russian Federation, federal bodies of government communication and information, troops of civil defense, bodies of the Federal Security Service (counterintelligence) and border troops, bodies of foreign intelligence, federal executive body in the sphere of mobilization preparation and mobilization, other military forming of the Russian Federation and the former USSR and organizations and bodies of criminal executive system created according to the legislation, in the Joint Armed Forces of the Commonwealth of Independent States and also on persons of the private and the commanding structure, serving in law-enforcement bodies of the Russian Federation and the former USSR, drug trafficking monitoring bodies and psychotropic substances, the Public fire service and organizations and bodies of criminal executive system, troops of national guard of the Russian Federation, and family of these persons who live in the states - the former Republics of USSR, not being members of the Commonwealth of Independent States if the legislation of the specified states does not provide implementation of their provision of pensions on the bases established for persons passing military service, service in law-enforcement bodies and their families.

Article 2. Purpose of pensions to persons passing military service, service in law-enforcement bodies, the Public fire service, drug trafficking monitoring bodies and psychotropic substances, organizations and bodies of criminal executive system, troops of national guard of the Russian Federation, bodies of forced execution of the Russian Federation and to their families on the bases established by the Federal Law "About Insurance Pensions" and the Federal Law "About the State Provision of Pensions in the Russian Federation"

Provision of pensions of persons undergoing military service as soldiers, sailors, sergeants and foremen (earlier - the valid compulsory military service) in the armed forces and military forming specified in the Item "and" of article 1 of this Law, and families of these persons is performed according to the Federal Law of December 15, 2001 No. 166-FZ "About the state provision of pensions in the Russian Federation" (further - the Federal Law "About the State Provision of Pensions in the Russian Federation").

On conditions and on the regulations established by the Federal Law of December 28, 2013 No. 400-FZ "About insurance pensions" (further - the Federal Law "About Insurance Pensions") and the Federal Law "About the State Provision of Pensions in the Russian Federation", pensions to the persons living in the Russian Federation specified in article 1 of this Law and to families of these persons at will can be granted.

On the bases established by the Federal Law "About Insurance Pensions" also pensions are granted to the former military personnel and faces of the commanding structure of law-enforcement bodies, the Public fire service, drug trafficking monitoring bodies and psychotropic substances, organizations and bodies of criminal executive system, troops of national guard of the Russian Federation, bodies of forced execution of the Russian Federation deprived in the procedure for military or special ranks established by the legislation and their families in the presence at them the right to provision of pensions according to the specified Federal Law.

Article 3. Persons equated on provision of pensions to passing military service as officers or under the contract and their families

Persons who in the period of the Great Patriotic War occupied the command positions corresponding to the positions replaced by officers in the Soviet guerrilla groups and connections and to their families are granted pensions on the bases provided by this Law for persons passing military service as officers and their families. On the same bases pensions are granted to the former military personnel of conscription service who in the period of the Great Patriotic War borrowed in military units, headquarters and organizations of field army of position, corresponding to the positions replaced by officers and their families.

To the women undergoing in voluntary procedure active duty on positions of soldiers, sailors, sergeants and foremen (female former serviceman) and their families pensions are granted to persons who were in the extra urgent military service (the former serviceman of extra urgent service) on the bases provided by this Law for persons passing military service under the contract as soldiers, sailors, sergeants and foremen, and their families.

Article 4. Provision of pensions of persons passing military service, service in law-enforcement bodies, drug trafficking monitoring bodies and psychotropic substances, organizations and bodies of criminal executive system in other states and their families

Provision of pensions of the persons living in the territory of the Russian Federation passing military service as officers, ensigns, warrant officers and the military personnel of extra urgent service or military service under the contract as soldiers, sailors, sergeants and foremen in armed forces (armies, troops), security service and other military forming created according to the legislation or service in law-enforcement bodies, drug trafficking monitoring bodies and psychotropic substances, organizations and bodies of criminal executive system of other State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the states, not being members of the Commonwealth of Independent States with whom the Russian Federation or the former USSR sign contracts (agreements) on social security and also families of specified persons it is performed according to the procedure, provided by these agreements (agreements).

Article 5. Types of pensions

Persons specified in article 1 of this Law acquire the right to pensions:
