About operational search activities

The purpose of this Law is protection of life, health, the rights and personal freedoms, and also property and safety of society and state from criminal encroachments.
In this Law the following concepts are used:
1) operational search activities - the type of activity performed publicly or secretly by the state bodies authorized on that by this Law by means of conducting investigation and search operations, use of special forces, means and methods;
2) poll of citizens - personal poll the operational employee of the citizen to whom actual data about the researched event or persons, involved in it, can be known;
3) targeting of references - official obtaining by the operational employee of the actual information important for the solution of tasks of operational search activities from operational, criminalistic and other databases;
4) identification of the personality - identification of the suspect (checked) on dactyloscopic card-index, marks left on site incidents, to composition of blood, saliva, traces of smell and other methods;
5) special technical means - the devices, the equipment, devices, the equipment having special functions, the software and design features for getting and documentation of information during conducting investigation and search operations including in networks (on channels) bonds;
6) quick search in information networks and the Internet - secret actions for identification of signs of unlawful activity in information networks, including the Internet, by means of special technical means;
7) operational experiment - the modeling of operational search situation allowing to find by practical consideration illegal actions as being under control, and unknown persons for the purpose of documentation and suppression of their criminal activities;
