About measures for the organization of cryptographic information security in the Republic of Uzbekistan

According to the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About informatization" and "About protection of the state secrets", and also for the purpose of ordering of activities for the information security which is confidential or containing the data carried to the state secrets with use of means of cryptographic information security and cryptographic systems:

1. Determine that the Service of state security of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the authorized body performing single state policy and providing carrying out certification of products (services) in the field of cryptographic information security.

2. Determine the main objectives of Service of state security in the field of cryptographic information security:

forming and realization of strategic priorities in the field of development and use of means and systems of cryptographic information security according to modern requirements and standards;

ensuring standardization, certification and licensing, enhancement of regulatory framework in the field of cryptographic information security;

the organization of research works and training of highly qualified personnel in the field of cryptographic information security, development of domestic means of cryptographic information security.

3. Determine that the means of cryptographic information security, including foreign production used in case of cryptographic protection are subject to obligatory certification:

information containing the data carried to the state secrets;

confidential information which owner are the state organizations;

confidential information in the organizations, irrespective of their departmental accessory and patterns of ownership, by delivery by them of goods and services for needs of the state organizations.

4. Approve:
