About provision of one-time financial aid on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism

Art. 1. - One-time financial aid on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism is provided to veterans of World War II for May 9, 2025 (further - one-time financial aid).

Art. 2. - The amount of one-time financial aid constitutes 20 thousand lei.

Art. 3. - Receivers of one-time financial aid are established by National cash desk of social insurance owing to its powers based on the data available in the information system "Social protection".

Art. 4. - (1) Payment of one-time financial aid is performed by means of the payment method chosen by the receiver and available within government electronic payment service (MPay). Account of payment of the amounts of one-time financial aid is kept by National cash desk of social insurance.

(2) the amounts which are Unreasonably received in the form of one-time financial aid are subject to return in full based on the decision which is taken out by National cash desk of social insurance.

(3) If the amounts specified in part (2), are on accounts of receivers, they return the payment service provider to the account of National cash desk of social insurance by means of government electronic payment service (MPay).

(4) If the amounts specified in part (2), cannot be returned by the payment service provider, they return persons who received them to the account of National cash desk of social insurance based on the decision.

(5) the Sum of one-time financial aid determined, but not paid in connection with the death of the receiver is paid to the surviving spouse or the receiver's children, and in case of their absence - to person who proved that it incurred expenses in connection with his death, based on the permission issued by bodies of the national social insurance.

(6) the Amounts of one-time financial aid are paid until the end of 2025. If the receiver of one-time financial aid does not request from this help until the end of 2025, its payment stops, and the receiver has no more right to this help.

Art. 5. - Expenses on execution of this law are covered at the expense of transfers from the government budget in the budget of the national social insurance.

Art. 6. - This law becomes effective since May 1, 2025.
