About the state support in the field of high technologies

1. This law establishes the basic principles of the state support in the field of high technologies and governs the relations connected with forming and functioning of system of the state support in this area.
1. The legislation on the state support of the sphere of high technologies consists of this Law, the Civil code of the Republic of Armenia and other legal acts.
2. If international treaties of the Republic of Armenia establish other regulations, than those which are provided by this Law then are applied regulations of international treaties.
1. In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
1) high technologies - set of new opportunities, information, knowledge, experience, appliances allocated for development, creation, production of competitive products in economy which cornerstone scientific and technical innovations, including information technologies are;
2) information technologies - based on computers, in particular the software, service or management information systems, and also all types of the technologies used for creation, transformation, storage, protection, processing, transfer and safe extraction of information in all formats including data, images (mobile, stationary);
3) platform is autonomous program system by means of which the corresponding applications are submitted and provision of the state support will be organized;
4) the hired worker-person, performing work according to the employment or civil contract;
