About some questions of National academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan in case of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

1. Reorganize non-commercial joint-stock company "National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan" in case of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan by transformation to the highest scientific organization "National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan" in case of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further - Academy).

2. Determine authorized body by management of the corresponding industry (sphere) of public administration concerning the Ministry of Science and the Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Academy.

3. Determine core activities of Academy:

1) development of recommendations about determination of the priority directions of scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities according to priorities of social and economic development, and also the priority directions of strategic, basic and applied scientific research in the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) carrying out the analysis of the strategic priority directions of development of science and the technologies provided by authorized body to National council on science and technologies in case of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) conducting examination of the scientific and technical tasks submitted for consideration to the Highest scientific and technical commission for program target financing;

4) implementation of preparation and carrying out foresight (forecast) researches on development of science;

5) carrying out tenders on competition of personalized awards and grants in the field of science;

6) carrying out scientific research in the different fields of science and technology;

7) edition of scientific magazines;

8) participation in development international scientific and sci-tech cooperation;

9) participation in promoting of science.

4. To provide to the ministry of science and the higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan taking measures, following from this resolution.

5. Approve the enclosed changes which are made to some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

6. This resolution becomes effective from the date of its signing.
